The maeng da plant is typically characterized by its darker colored leaves, higher alkaloid content (mitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine, mitraphylline compaounds) and its resilience to environmental conditions, when compared with other kratom plants, during the growth process. Our growers in Indonesia have many years of experience growing the maeng da plant and take great care when picking, storing and grinding the leaves to ensure quality and freshness. We recommend storing your kratom in a cool, dark and dry location to keep it safe from the elements that can degrade the alkaloid content of this plant.
